2021 Ford Bronco Sport vs. 2021 Chevy Trailblazer on Everyman Driver

If you’ve been looking for a new SUV, maybe for off-road adventures, you’ll want to know the differences between the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport vs. 2021 Chevy Trailblazer. Great news. I’ve driven and reviewed both. This comparison will look closer at what’s important. You will know the pricing, features, trim levels, off-road handling, and performance of both the Bronco Sport and Trailblazer.

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport and 2021 Chevy Trailblazer are both brand-new models based on vehicles that existed in the past. The Bronco Sport is known for its boxy shape and superior performance, while the Trailblazer is boasted about for comfort and features.

Off-Road Trail & Terrain Capabilities: The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is filled to the gills with off-road equipment. Plus, it offers 7.8-inches of ground clearance. You will be thrilled with the twin-tube hydraulic gas-pressurized shocks, off-road suspension, AdvanceTrac system, RSC (Roll Stability Control), 180-degree camera, and advanced 4×4 system with twin-clutch RDU. In comparison, there’s no reason to take the base Trailblazer on the trail. Sure, it has eight inches of ground clearance, and you can add all-wheel-drive, but there is no equipment geared specifically for off-road adventures.

Superior Technology: The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport comes equipped with the latest technologies, including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and SYNC3 infotainment system. However, the new Trailblazer only comes with a 137-horsepower 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder or the 155-horsepower 1.3-liter option.
