Tesla Model Y – 1 Year Later on Everyman Driver

Everyman Driver purchased a 2020 Tesla Model 3 last year as a personal vehicle. It’s our daily driver since we drive a new press vehicle every week, sometimes two press vehicles per week. Our other personal vehicle is a 2017 Ford F-150. We only use it to haul the kids , yard projects and/or hauling our storage trailer. We’ll probably upgrade to a larger Tesla in a few years but we’re not in a hurry.

Edmunds took ownership of a 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance last year as part of their long-term test program. Now, one year later, Carlos Lago shares the team’s experience after approximately 9,000 miles of use. What was it like to drive the Model Y for a year? How reliable was it? What kind of maintenance was needed and what issues popped up? What was the range on our Model Y? Is the Model Y one of the best small SUVs on the market? Edmunds answer these questions and more. They also detail the highs and lows of owning and driving the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance in the video below.
