Fallback Image

2014 Mitsubishi i-Miev on Everyman Driver with Dave EricksonThe big news for the 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV electric-powered production vehicle is its new low price: the starting MSRP for the Japanese auto manufacturer’s highly advanced production EV now starts at only $22,995 – a $6,130 price reduction from the previous vehicle model year. After factoring in the Federal tax credit of $7,500, the net starting MSRP for the 2014 model year Mitsubishi i-MiEV drops all the way down to only $15,495.

What’s more, the 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV now includes an expanded standard equipment package of welcome features/equipment at no additional cost to the consumer. These items include:

2014 Mitsubishi i-Miev EWD CargoOther standard features included on every 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV are energy-saving Electric Power Steering (EPS) and regenerative braking system; i-MiEV remote system for programming pre-activated air conditioning, heating, and timer charging of the main drive lithium-ion battery pack; halogen projection headlights with auto on/off headlight control; rear LED combination taillights; highly efficient electric air conditioning with pollen filter and electric cabin heater; and a smooth-sounding 100-watt 6 speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3-compatible audio system.

2014 Mitsubishi i-Miev CargoThe 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV may be compact in its overall dimensions, but this EV’s clever packaging and design makes for very roomy and comfortable accommodations for four adult-size passengers. With its relatively tall roofline, rear-mounted electric motor and lithium-ion-ion main battery pack placed safely and securely in a watertight and dustproof stainless steel safety cell underneath the floor of the passenger compartment, even the rear passengers will experience an exceptionally satisfying degree of leg room. There’s even a small cargo area at the back of the vehicle that is more than capable of carrying numerous bags of groceries or other items. And with the 50/50 rear seats folded flat, the cargo capacity expands greatly.

The 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV is available in four dynamic exterior colors: Labrador Black, Diamond White, Cool Silver and a new stunning Aqua Marine Blue.
