Kia held the line on midrange 2016 Sorento pricing. The 2016 Sorento EX front-wheel-drive model starts at $32,595, including shipping, or the same price as the comparable outgoing model.

The 2016 Sorento features a sleeker and more sophisticated look. The redesigned SUV is longer, lower and wider than the 2015 model, with an extended wheelbase. The cabin is roomier and there are new convenience and safety technologies.
Sorento buyers have a choice of three engines, including a new 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder GDI turbocharged engine. New optional safety technology includes a forward collision warning system and blind-spot detection system.
Key Sorento rivals include the Chevrolet Equinox, Ford Edge, Honda Pilot and Toyota RAV4.
