Toyota currently builds the 4Runner in nine trim levels: SR5, SR5 Premium, TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, Limited, and TRD Pro. There are also three special-editions — the Trail, Venture, and Nightshade models. The 4Runner comes in two- or four-wheel-drive.

The entry-level SR5 trim has a starting price of around $36,500. It comes with popular features like automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, LED headlights, heated power side mirrors, cloth upholstery, a power driver’s seat, keyless entry, air conditioning, an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

The Trail Special Edition costs around $38,500, and it adds features like black exterior badging, dark gray wheels, all-weather floor mats, a Yakima cargo basket, and a 40-quart removable cooler.

The SR5 Premium has an MSRP of about $40,000. Amenities include leatherette seats, a power passenger seat, heated front seats, keyless ignition, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

For about $40,500, shoppers can get the TRD Off-Road trim. It comes with all of the features of the SR5, plus items like all-weather tires, Multi-Terrain Select, and a crawl mode.

The TRD Off-Road Premium costs about $43,500, and it combines all of the features of the SR5 Premium and Off-Road models. Starting around $45,000, the Venture has the same long list of features as the Off-Road Premium and the stealthy styling and exclusive add-ons that come with the Trail model.

The Limited trim has a roughly-$45,500 MSRP, and for that, shoppers get conveniences like dual-zone climate control, leather-trimmed upholstery, chrome exterior accents, and a power sliding moonroof.

The Nightshade retails for approximately $47,000, and it is essentially a 4Runner Limited with black exterior styling elements, black alloy wheels, and all-weather tires.

The top-of-the-line 4Runner is the TRD Pro. It costs about $50,500 and has a TRD roof rack, front skid plate, FOX shocks, TRD-tuned front springs, matte-black wheels, Nitto Terra Grappler all-terrain tires, a unique grille, and TRD interior accents.
